If you’re travelling with elderly, please be aware that most (if not all) attractions in Cameron Highlands are not wheel-chair friendly.

Also, many attractions charge admission fees which we do not include in our tour prices. Be prepared to pay RM10 to RM50 per adult for entry.

Because of the way the traffic flows, it is advisable to visit attractions in the following order. We suggest choosing 3 to 5 attractions. You can choose up to 4 places maximum if you have a group size larger than 5 pax.

Brinchang and Tanah Rata have the most lunch and dinner options, but it will be a detour through the traffic at Kea Farm to stop for a meal and then continue sightseeing. So please consider your options carefully to avoid wasting time getting caught in traffic.

Here’s a relaxed itinerary that we recommend for those travelling with seniors or small children:

Morning

Pick up from Ipoh at 8:30am for breakfast (or not) in Ipoh before the 2 to 2.5-hour drive up to Cameron Highlands.
Stop mid-way through the drive, either at Hobbitoon Village or Green View Gardens.
Visit BOH Sungai Palas Tea Plantation (we advise having something to eat while you’re here)
Browse at Kea Farm Market

Afternoon

Spend an hour or so exploring Agro Market
Pick strawberries at Big Red Strawberry Farm or similar (there are a lot of options for strawberry farms)
Have afternoon tea at The Smokehouse or Jim Thompson Tea Room

Evening

Head back down to Ipoh (2 to 2.5-hour drive) and drop off at your Ipoh hotel around 6pm

Please note that the guide/ driver may choose to go down earlier than 4pm to avoid bad weather or bad traffic. It is at their discretion to make this decision based on their experience.

If you would like to stay longer in Cameron Highlands, we will charge extra fees to cover the guide’s overtime.
