We booked the service from 20 to 21 July for Ipoh and Cameron Highland. Had a great experience with this tour service. Our guide Ah Keong was friendly, patient, and engaging throughout the trip. He gave excellent recommendations for local food and places to visit, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Having read many good reviews on this Hilly Travels, l decide to engage their service for a day's trip to Cameron on our Ipoh trip on the 9th. Prior  to my booking the agency gives detailed info n recommendations to the place. It handles everything professionally.  An mpv is provided so we have had a comfortable ride with a very efficient driver, Ah Keong. He's careful in his driving ,very approachable, patient and knowledgeable. On mentioning a must have dish only available in Cameron he's able to locate the place for us though he isn't aware of such a dish at first. Really appreciate his help. Visitors from Hong Kong and Singapore here who booked a full day Ipoh tour from Cameron Highlands. I reached out to Explore Ipoh/ Hilly Travels via whatsapp after reading their great guides on Ipoh and Cameron Highlands. Throughout our text communication, Janice was very responsive and provided detailed information and quotations for us. I particularly appreciated the way they recaped my requests and our itinerary and the total remainder to pay after deposit, their professionalism was reassuring. Not to mention they offer the best pricing overall! I messaged our Chinese speaking guide, Teh, to ask about trying local kampung durian, and to ask about adding a stop just the day before, he was very flexible and courteous. When we met him the next day, he exceeded our initial positive impression. He took extra good care of the seniors in our group, went above and beyond to show us all the good spots, and offered us extra time to buy souvenirs and check out restaurants and shops that he recommends. Not to mention a lot of explanation along the way and a really good and special Hakka restaurant he took us to for lunch. Thanks to Teh, we got to experience an Ipoh we would not have seen otherwise. It started with arranging private transfer from Penang to Ipoh. It ended up with spending 4 days with our guide Teh, from Penang througjt Taiping to Ipoh then Cameron Highlands. And another private transfer from Cameron Highlands to KL. Arrangements were made with Hilly Travels via WhatsApp. They were responsive, made helpful suggestions that helped with my travel itinerary. Firstly we spent 4 days with our guide Teh. He is wonderful. He is kind, helpful, flexible and accommodating. He is a careful driver and makes sure safety is priority. He understands clients' needs and tries to plan attractions accordingly. He factors in weather conditions, travel time, keeping kids entertained and happy etc.. Teh is a true professional and takes pride in his ability to provide the best service possible to his clients. We appreciated this quality and were very happy with Teh's suggestions. We discovered more of what Taiping, Ipoh and Cameron Highlands had to offer, than I expected. Next we had a private transfer from Cameron Highlands to KL. Our driver was Ah Keong. Ah Keong is very friendly, chatty and drives really safely. He considered our every need, making sure the place he selected for our lunch stop was suitable for our family. It was a local traditional coffeeshop that served all sorts of fried noodles. We enjoyed it a lot. He also made sure he selected a 5 star restroom stop on the way to KL which we were very appreciative! Thank you Ah Keong. Well done Hilly Travels, Teh and Ah Keong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Tour Guide, Mr Teh – Safe, Professional & Exceptional Service We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide throughout our Cameron Highlands trip. From the moment our journey began, he drove very smoothly and comfortably, always adjusting his driving speed to ensure everyone, especially my family, had a pleasant ride. He regularly checked in with us to see if we needed to stop for a restroom break, stretch our legs, or simply take a rest. His attentiveness made the long journey much more enjoyable. He was polite, courteous, and genuinely helpful throughout the trip. He struck the perfect balance—friendly enough to chat when appropriate, but never overly chatty or intrusive, allowing us to enjoy the journey comfortably. What impressed us even more was his excellent knowledge of the area. Along the way, he shared interesting facts, local history, and recommendations about the places we visited, making the trip both educational and enjoyable. He also recommended and suggested several places of interests that are suitable for kids and taking the optimal route to maximise our time there. We also felt completely safe and well taken care of. He was always punctual, reliable, and ensured we knew exactly where to go and where he would be waiting to pick us up after each stop. That gave us great peace of mind throughout the trip. One incident truly demonstrated his professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, my son became carsick and accidentally vomited in the vehicle. Despite the unpleasant situation and smell, he remained incredibly calm, reassured us not to worry, and even helped us clean the seat without showing any frustration. We were deeply grateful for his understanding, patience, and compassion. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable trip, and a big part of that was because of his outstanding service.
